Eddytec

Eddytec is a spin-out from the University of Amsterdam and the Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences. Eddytec’s hardware and software solution allows to detect faults and damages (cracks, delamination) in aircraft parts made from carbon fibre composites, using eddy currents. This method of non-destructive testing is non-contact and can achieve high speeds as well as simplify the process of measurement through automation. It will reduce inspection and maintenance costs while also increasing the flight time of an aircraft, directly impacting the bottom line of airlines.
